On the 8th October, Krystyna Beardman presented the board with her resignation from the voluntary role of General Manager of IHNZ. In following due process, the board has respected her decision and accepted her resignation from this role on the 15th October.

Krys has been with the sport for so long many will not remember a time before she was involved in some way. Inline Hockey would not be where it is today without her contribution.

As GM Krys managed many events including the most recent National Championships. She has also been a driving force behind our international teams and has attended most international events in which NZ has competed.

The Board of IHNZ sincerely thanks Krystyna Beardman for her ample contribution to our sport. Krys has previously been honored with Life membership and we believe the best way to honor her legacy is to build on the platform she has established, and we hope to retain Krys' volunteer time in some form.

Krys and the board are working together to achieve a smooth transition and we ask for your patience and assistance through this period of change.

It is only right the last word is from Krys herself. “I sincerely hope the direction the association is taking leads to a vibrant future.”
