The Waitangi 3 on 3 Inline Hockey Tournament took place from Friday 6 February - Sunday 8 February at the Hamilton Devils rink. There were 27 teams across three grades (U10/12; U14/16; and Senior) competing in a total of 94 games.

U14/16:
1st Pink Panthers; 2nd To Infinity and Beyond; 3rd Mixed Bag
U10/12:
1st Late Entry; 2nd Little Puckers; 3rd Skate Freaks
Games began at 7.30am each day and ran until 10.30pm on Friday and Saturday, and then 5.30pm on Sunday. Bennett Row (HIHC) was the Tournament Director and advised the tournament went well. There were a few more teams in competition than the previous year, and depsite the tight schedule, games rarely went behind time more than 5 minutes until finals on Sunday afternoon when extra time in a few of the games meant the tournament ended about 25 minutes behind the expected finish time. In addition, there were no major injuries or discipline issues and everyone (players and supporters) seemed to have a positive attitude all weekend.
