Inline Hockey New Zealand are pleased to announce the New Zealand teams to compete at Oceania Inline Hockey Championships being hosted by Inline Hockey New Zealand in Hamilton in 2017. The venue is the Hamilton Inline Hockey Club rink on Old farm Road, East Hamilton.

The first "Give Back" camp was held over the weekend of February 25 and 26. The camp had a great attendance and the coaches were amazing. Scott Collins, James O'Donnell and Aaron Stockman braved the heat wave and spent hours on the rink running sessions all day for the "happy campers".

Announcing new e-learning courses Level 1, Level 2 and for coaches for those athletes wishing to complete and compete in NZ representative team attending world championships. These programmes are designed to educate athletes and coaching staff.

Planning is underway for 2017 with the announcement that agreement has been reached with Australia to host Oceania in New Zealand in April school holidays. Grades will be 12U, 14U, 16U, JW14U along with Masters and Veterans.

The 2016 Inter Regional Championships are being held in Wanganui over Labour weekend. There is a very full schedule over the long weekend with games starting midday Friday and finishing late afternoon Monday. In 2016 the Inter Regional Trophy has been won by the Central Region.

New Zealand National Championships are over for another season. A thrilling nine days of inline hockey held at the Hamilton Devils venue in East Hamilton. We thank the local club and their members for putting in many hours preparing for our arrival and the teams were not disappointed.

A training and fitness camp is being held in New Plymouth over November 19 and 20 for interested players wishing to be considered for the squad trialling for the NZ Senior Team. A schedule of 2017 dates will be advised at camp.

We bid farewell to the Senior Women's team today as they make their way to Asiago in Italy to compete at the FIRS World Inline Hockey Championships The championship starts on June 12 with a practice day on June 11.
